You might have been wondering why I haven’t been in touch for the past two weeks. Greetings from South Africa! I’ve been here on safari with my family and friends. Even though Rewire Me’s managing editor gave me permission to unplug my computer (Thank you, Faye!) I wasn’t really planning on doing it. But I’ve been way out in the bush where the Internet service is really limited, and besides, there were plenty of other amazing things to do, so I used this opportunity for a real digital detox.

Now, as I’m heading to the airport, WiFi is part of my life again, so I thought I’d take this opportunity to share some photos of the amazing friends I’ve encountered (see gallery). I’ll post more once I’m home, unpacked, and have shaken the sand out of my shoes. Until then, I can tell you one thing for sure, I’ll definitely be coming back to New York rewired!
