March is National Nutrition Month. Every year the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics sponsors this event, and this year’s theme “Bite Into a Healthy Lifestyle” really speaks to me. Making changes can be hard, especially changes that pertain to food. I’m Italian and have seen first hand that in many families food is love, food is culture, and food is family. Taking it one bite at a time gives you the chance to incorporate new rituals. Taking it one bite at a time let’s you explore new delicious and nutritious options that feed the body and the soul, because food is also health.
